Just setting up a new Mini with Parallels and everything works very well... except the Magic Mouse 2. It "works" but seems very awkward. The main problem is the lack of a physical middle button/scroll wheel. Tried installing BetterTouchTool but didn't care for it, seemed very hard to find the right place to click, even after tweaking the settings. Am now using the free trial of middle , which is much simpler and a little better at recognizing the middle click. But still not great, I only have about a 50% chance of getting it right when I click.

And the lack of tactile feedback is a real problem for mousewheel scrolling in Windows. After a couple days messing with this, I plugged in the old POS $15 Targus USB mouse from my PC and have been using it for Windows, which work great. So, I'm wondering if anybody else has found good solutions for using the Magic Mouse with Windows? I never cared for the Magic Mouse before, but thought I'd give it another try with the new Mini. There have been lots of reports of Bluetooth issues with the new Mini, so I thought it might make sense to use a real Apple product. It works fine with MacOS but is very frustrating with Windows. My main need for Windows is a GIS application (GlobalMapper) that uses the middle button to pan, so it gets a lot of use and I really don't want to hold down a modifier key.
