Magic Trackpad 4 Finger Swipe Not Working

A couple of days ago the four-finger gestures stopped working and I can't figure out why. All other gestures are working normally. Any ideas how to fix?

I've checked and unchecked the boxes in Preferences. I disconnected and reconnected the trackpad. I changed the batteries (they were low anyway).

Are you sure they stopped working, or are you just not getting enough contact with your fingers? I have quite a bit of problems with them because of the rough skin on the side of my thumb. Maybe it's the same for you?

Definitely not that.

Here's another bit of info I just discovered. I have 2 other profiles on my MP. I just logged into one of them and the gestures are working just fine in that profile but still not working on mine.

Any ideas???? :confused:
 
I just went out and bought a brand new trackpad. Guess what...four finger gestures still aren't working in my profile (but work fine in the others).

What's going on?!? Can anyone help?
