Magic Trackpad + Apple Pencil = Entry level drawing Tablet

Is there any hardware-reasons this shouldn't work?
Would deg buy the AP to use it for drawing similar to the Paper app (https://www.fiftythree.com) on my iMac!

The Pencil is only designed to work with the iPad Pro so that would be a no. Pretty sure the Magic Trackpad is nowhere near as precise as the iPad Pro's touchscreen either.

Because Apple Pencil is not just a stick, I am quite sure, that all necessary electronic circuitry is missing from the Magic Trackpad.
