Hello,
I have a MacBook Pro that I often use at my desk with a Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad. But since it's a laptop, I often use it elsewhere. The problem is, if I'm not within a few feet of the keyboard and track pad, they'll repeatedly connect and disconnect every couple minutes, flashing that icon on my screen. It's really disruptive and happens whether I'm across the room or across the house. Is there a way to make them stop automatically connecting? I don't want to turn bluetooth off, and manually disconnecting them takes several tries before it "sticks". I also don't want to unpair them because that's a pain in the butt.
Any ideas? I've googled this so many times and never once found someone with the same problem. My backup idea is to get a bluetooth-blocking bag to put them in to block the signal, but it really shouldn't be that hard.
Thanks,
Ken
