Hi, Today i have buy a magic trackpad. I have a macbook c2d white from 2007. I have Snow Leopard 10.6.6.

Well, after pair the magic trackpad, i only can use it as normal trackpad. Left and right click and all surface move the cursor but i cant use two finger scroll or swipe to zoom photos.

I go to Preferences panel, Trackdpad and appear the standard configuration of the trackpad, this ->

but doesnt appear the multitouch preference panel with videos of the gestures like the new macbooks, this ->

I try to CONFIGURE BLUETOOTH TRACKPAD button that is under, but dont find the trackpad.

What can i do??

After you paired it did you run software update? I vaguely recall having to run that and get some random trackpad update just to use the trackpad's features.

From there I installed Better Touch Tool, the tool that Apple should have created all along.

yes i have make a software update and install the compatibility update 1.0 for multitouch, and nothing.

:(

Later i´m going to try the aplication that you say.

Thanks

yes, after compatibility update it ask me to restart and i restart.

maybe PRAM reset?

I had this issue after doing a wipe and clean install.
All returned to normal after running software update tho so I`m not sure whats
happening here...sorry
