I can't stand the new apple 'magic'Keyboard - it's way too slim / shallow and think my wrists / fingers hurt using it - like typing on a hard slab.

I'd like backlit - I've. Used a editorskeys which suffered from random ddoulbe kkey ppresses- they also didn't refund my return postage and deducted the original cost off my refund - so £9 out of pocket with these cowboys.

Logickeyboard - macOS Astra - much better keyboard than editors keys but after2-3 wake from sleep scenarios, the keys stopped working! Thebacklit was on and the USB hub worked. Shame. Only solution is to restart the MacPro.

I've ordered a Logitech kb 740 to give that a try - any other alternatives? What keyboard do you use with your Mac?

Just wish apple would stick with stuff that works like the old aluminium wired keyboard. The quest to make things slim is bad

Edit - Logickeyboard wanted to send the faulty keyboard back to me because 'they couldn't replicate the issue' after telling them no, I think they are refunding me - but not the £17 in return postage.

So all in all, only go via amazon with these companies - or stick. With reputable companies like Logitech

Logitech Craft Keyboard, it's pretty nice... backlit, can pair up to 3 devices, has handy shortcuts and feels really solid. In my opinion it's superior to Apple solution.

I got the Logitech kb740 - wired backlit keyboard for windows, couple keys in different places and once I swapped the alt / command keys around it pretty much has the same layout as apples.

Excellent so far and it cost £55 oh and has a wrist rest built in!

Though Logickeyboard wanted to send my faulty macOS Astra keyboard back to me (why the f would I want a keyboard I've just sent to you because it doesn't work, BACK? Crazy) they are now refunding it but in total I've lost about £27 sending faulty Keyboards back to both editorskeys and logickeyboard- so will avoid these companies, or go via amazon if I buy from them again (unlikely!)

Man the magic keyboard I shudder at the thought of using it, horrible

I just bought one of these on sale at Best Buy and I agree. They are awfully expensive, but this is the best non-mechanical keyboard I have ever used, both feel, aesthetic and utitilty wise. I love the seemless ability to switch between my windows work machine and my personal Mabook Pro.
