Anybody upgraded to Lion that has MagicJack? I upgraded and my MagicJack will start and run, but it seems that after a while it "unexpectedly quits" and gives an error message but I dont' know what it means.

Any reason it would start and run, but then quit? Is it because it's not 64bit?

I installed Lion yesterday on my previous gen iMac, no problems, it was working fine.

I just got the brand new iMac today, set it up with Lion, but Magic Jack will not launch and install the software.

Everytime I launch the icon, tells me to wait patiently, then crashes every time, after permissions repair and reboot.

I restarted in safe mode, and magic jack opened there with no problems. Restarted back up normal, and would not open, kept crashing again. So it would appear something 3rd party, not apple, is causing my magic jack woes right now.

Just got finished chatting with MagicJack. I installed this, and mine works now:

...spoke too soon. My installation is still crashing, just not as often.

I ran the MacUpgrade as well and still no dice. Starts fine and runs for a while, can call and receive calls. But after a random amount of time it "Unexpectedly Quits" and asks to reopen.

I tried running all those installers/upgraders too, no dice, they ran fine but as soon as it tries to launch the MJ application, crash. I tried this on 2 of my MJ's on my new mac. They were fine on my new laptop.

Spent about 2 hours on the computer chat support with Magic Jack, but that was a waste. They kept bumping me up to higher support then that guy would conveniently disconnect the session with me.

I was reading over in the "Unofficial MagicJack Support Forum" that when some would talk with MagicJack support that they would have them go to the MJ drive in disk utility and erase and reformat the MJ drive to MacOS Journaled or Fat and then reinstall MJ. Seems like some have had success with this and some have not.

Anybody found out anything?? Mine is still doing the same thing, starts up normal, runs and can make and receive calls, but then after a while it quits.

Ill put up the error report later.....
