Magnetic Screen Latch (15inch MBP)

I've recently noticed that when opening the screen on my mbp, there only seems to be resistance on the right hand side of the screen, almost as the magnets making up the latch on the left hand side of the screen aren't there. It's obviously no biggie, but i was just curious if this was the case with all mbp's?

I just checked, and yes there definitely seems to be more magnetic force keeping the screen closed on the right side then on the left. I usually open it from the middle and had not noticed it. But when I tried opening from the outside corners it is pretty apparent.

I guess we should remember this is a production line piece of equipment - its not hand made by magical elves so i doubt there will ever be a single Mac in general that is "perfect".
