Magnifique died... what now?

Hey all.

I used to customise my GUI in Tiger using a couple of apps or so in order to make my machine seem more personalised. Then when I got this MacBook I found myself with Leopard and only one GUI tweaker in the mainstream; Magnifique. But it seems that Snow Leopard has killed it... It'll load but if you try to apply a GUI tweak, it beach-balls and dies.

Essentially I'm on the lookout for a new tweaker... does anybody know of one that works for Snow Leopard?

Magnifique never even worked in LEOPARD for me, so good luck with SL!

Will do. Currently doing a "thorough search" (aka attacking Google from all possible angles with all possible and coherent combinations of related words I can think of plus thesaurus suggestions) and will post results.

And I'm sorry it never worked for you, I had a lovely black theme going on, matched my BlackBook and my addiction to sci-fi films perfectly!

Also, loving the Douglass Adams quote. I'm not ashamed to say I can recite pretty much all of the five radio series of H2G2.
