hi I have a theme for a program called Magnifigue. Unfortunaly I cannot run it on my imac g3 with tiger. Is there a program that supports the theme and will run on my imac?

shapeshifter wont open the theme. It there a certain format i gotta change it into

Try finding a ShapeShifter theme, then. You can't use Magnifique with anything but Leopard, and ShapeShifter has hundreds more themes.

what file format is a shape shifter file, whats the extension. I want to try a theme thats only for magnifique

I am having trouble getting the themes to function fully with Magnifique. I know I cant use shapeshifter because I have Leopard.

So after I apply any theme and restart the Finder and Dock, it applies all parts of the theme except the right side of my menu bar (not including spotlight). I have tried many themes and I have restarted my computer after applying each of them. For some reason, I have the same problem each time.

Any ideas?

Are you talking about menu bar icons for your battery, monitors and other usual stuff? If that's the case, your theme may not have its own menu bar icon installer. Get the icons you want to use and replace the original ones with them. You can find the original icons in /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras. Don't forget to backup icons before replacing the icons. If you want to use menu bar icons for specific apps, see my posts in this thread.

Thanks! I have finally found and changed the icon for displays in the menu bar. I have been searching Google for an hour trying to find more .pdf icons but have only found the displays one to download here:

Does you or anyone else know a good place to download these icons? I have seen many people with the Airport menu bar icon that looks like a cell bars, so there must be somewhere that you can download them.

Something like this? The forum is my favorite place to get fancy icons, themes, etc.

I liked using Magnifique well enough, but it didn't change the typeface in the menubar, which was what I was after.

I'll reinstall it in a future edition and see if it works then..

That's not something Magnifique can do currently. It will probably never be in magnifique.
