MagSafe 2 Converter - Works with Original MagSafe Connector?

Hello Everyone,

Just as the subject states, I'm wondering if the MagSafe2 converter works with the following original Apple MagSafe 1.0 connector:

I know it works with the MagSafe "1.5" connector here:

But I have not seen anyone post the MagSafe 2 converter working with the original MagSafe 1.0 connector. Can someone please confirm if it works or not? I placed an order for a new Retina Macbook Pro, and want to know if I can still use my original 1.0 MagSafe connectors with the MagSafe2 convertor connector, if it will work or not?

Sure does. We have about 20 of them at work and they work with every magsafe 1 we have.
