Note: MagSafe 2 connectors are not backwards compatiable, so you cannot use a MagSafe 2 connector with computers that do not have a MagSafe 2 port.

You wouldn't even be able to plug it in, they don't make a MagSafe 2 to MagSafe adapter, only the other way 'round.

Besides, the voltage on the 2 bricks are higher (20V vs 16V I believe?) so it would damage your computer even if you did manage to somehow plug it in.
