Hello guys.
I recently changed my rMBP battery but i'm concerned about the state of my Magsafe 2 and how it may affect it. The insulation near the magnet was all open and you could see how part of the cable conductors were broken. I just solved the problem by covering the damaged section with tape. The efectos of this is that the charging light sometimes is turned on and sometimes it's not. When it's not turned on the system says my battery is not charging. I turn upside down the magnet and sometimes the battery starts charging. So it's like having a false contact. My concern is that this might be affecting the battery (like it could be affected by a lower power magsafe for example)
Thanks guys!
