Fully charged mine the other day after I brought it… using it right now… had to plug it into a charger for my phone to recognise it had any charge to it… it doesn’t even seem to charge my phone unless it’s in low power mode and not being touched and even then charges very very slow on my iPhone 12 Pro

Mines been sitting around for a little over a week. In my pocket. Waiting for when I need it. Just plopped it on the back of my 13pm and it’s still at 100%, and it’s a refurb.

Well I’m exchanging it. Not only is it not holding a charge anymore, but when I put it in my bag it’s getting warm. It also stops charging when I put it on the back of my phone. It goes from 96% to zero.

Mine appears to go to sleep if not used for 5+ days or thereabouts. Shows no charge, but quick plug-in to power for a few seconds wakes it up and it then shows it is still at 100%

Two questions:

How long should a fully charged MagSafe battery pack stay charged before being used?

How much should a fully charged MagSafe battery pack charge an iPhone 13 Pro from, say, 5 percent? My battery pack seems to charge about 50 percentage points to my iPhone 13 Pro. Does that seem right?

Thanks.

yes, it is probably right, mine charges the 13 pro at 60% aprox but it depends on your BH and if you are using it while charging or not.

Mines (have 2 of them) have been 3 weeks and even a month without use, and still at 100% (but my packs have very few cycles) I only use them when I rock my favorite 12 mini.

I’ve left mine unused fully charged for over a month, it still retains full charge. This is one of the reasons I love the MagSafe battery from Apple, it is very well engineered and will work when I need it. Can’t say that about a lot of other manufacturers unfortunately.

I hope Apple brings it back, although the one I have will probably last me years to come.

maybe they will bring it back as they are rumored to change the magnets that are used for MagSafe on the phone. They are rum to get thinner or something like that. Therefore it would make perfectly sense for Apple not to release a new version of the pack before the iPhone 16 comes out, but after that … :)

They're not sold anymore? When did Apple stop?
