MagSafe Battery with 16.1 beta

Noticed MagSafe battery charges phones past 90 even though I have the option off. This started after 16.1 beta 1, I think. Beta 2 behaves similarly. Just curious if anyone else has experience this? Tested on 13 min and 14 pro.
