Magsafe Charge Indicator Light turns off

Is this a new function on the new MacBook Pro's? Mine turns off after being charged for a certain time. It happens either if it's still charging or fully charged. Just wanted to see if some are also encountering this?

As far as I know this is not a "feature" - Magsafe's have always works like this:

Orange light: Still charging
Green light: 100% Charge.

It should never go off. Even more so while it's charging.

That was an indication that my old T MagSafe was failing. Get it checked!
