Do you think in the future iPads maybe switch to the MagSafe power supply like current MacBooks instead of the 30 pin USB dock connectors that exist now?

It'd need to be completely wireless and/or independent of the need to transfer data over cable, wouldn't it? Apple wouldn't want multiple ports. Well, maybe they'd have to if (eventually) an iPad is a full-blown computer.

Wirelessly. If you need to sync to your Mac, but don't have wifi because the Mac is connected via Ethernet cable, maybe it could send out a signal to the iPad or search for it as long as the iPad wifi is set to on. I dunno, just a thought

I think this is a good idea for functionality. I don't like how the 30 pin connects on the iPad2. I don't think Apple will put on two connectors because they are more concerned about clean lines.

Just give me induction charge or wireless charging via magnetics to my whole house so all my electronics have power / gain power! :D
Yes, it has been an article on here.

In a few years there will be no wires for anything. Mark my words. Also, batteries will be way better. :p

Sounds sarcastic, but I hope not.

wireless inductive (?) charging combined with solar trickle charging is what I'd like to see.
