Magsafe charger problem

My MacBook Pro charger won't charge, it just blinks once and stops charging but only if the computer is on.

If the laptop is off it charges for only 10 seconds.

If anybody has any idea what's going on please help🙏

Maybe take it to the nearest Apple store (or a friend with the same charger) and see if it will charge. If it works, you know the issue is your charger. If not, maybe the battery? Most of the times I’ve gone in with iPhone issues they’re willing to tinker around a bit to help before offering to take your device away and make you pay for a repair.
