MagSafe charging sound

I’ve noticed in ios16 that when I place my iPhone 13 Pro Max on the MagSafe charger the connection sound and haptic is very low now. I thought it was because the do not disturb focus was set (before bed) but it does it all the time now. Is there a way to return to the way it was before?

I found that after rebooting the normal sound returns. But it eventually goes back to a faint sound after a few hours. Strange.
