Hi

I am using the MagSafe Duo. Periodically, I find my iPhone 13 PM fails to make a charging sound. Rebooting the phone restores the sound. Has anyone else had this? Thanks.

I don't have a MagSafe charger, but Apple made the MagSafe and Qi wireless charging a PITA if you use a thick, protective case on you iPhone 13 Pro Max. I always use an Otterbox Defender case on my phones, and after paying $1200 + tax for my iPhone 13 Pro Max I definitely want to protect. Unfortunately, Apple designed the newer phones where they cannot reliably be charged via MagSafe or Qi. I just use a wired 20W charger plugged into the pathetically outdated, proprietary lightning port. I tried a few different Qi chargers, but none were reliable. I never had a problem with my iPhone XR in an Otterbox Defender case though. Darn form over function Apple design philosophy sucks.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro with the Apple MagSafe Clear Case and the "charging puck". I took my case off last night to clean it. When I put it back on, the little circle animation came up but no sound. Similarly, I put my phone on the charger this morning and got the same (animation but no sound). Rebooting the phone seems to have fixed this. Not sure why this happened though.
