Magsafe in action

I saw magsafe in action this week, I was sitting in class and a student had her Macbook Air out, she had it plugged in as she was using it, we were sitting in a horseshoe style formation, she was on the end near the door, the cord was stretched from her desk to the front of the room behind the profs desk, he was in the center of the horseshoe all night, but during the class he went to the door so he could act like was walking in, on his way to the door his foot caught her cord and the magsafe saved her Macbook, had it not been a magsafe it would have flown off the desk and probably been broken, he caught the cord good and hard. I saw it coming too, I just watched the whole thing and there was nothing I could do.
