Over 5 hours to charge the 12 pro....probably 6 hours for the 12 pro max

5hrs?!?! Not sure what you're doing but I've found it extremely fast. 50% -100% charge in about 45mins.... maybe less.
Lol I’m not being funny but that’s impossible. Even with the 20w wired charge it wouldn’t be as fast as you claim, always takes 1.5 hours to charge last 50% at least

I am convinced there is an issue with MagSafe charging, or it’s been optimised exclusively to work with apples new 20W charger.

One thing to keep in mind here is that he is keeping the screen on during charging so it is of course going to take longer. The battery is getting zapped while its charging so this charge time really isn't accurate.

You're right... it was 65%. But, as you can see, not a chance it would take 5hrs to charge at that rate! You can see the rapid start and then the easing as it approaches 100%... all within an hour.

I’d like to see the video show us them turning off optimised battery charging first 🧐
If optimised charging was kicking in at 80%, then I think it wouldn’t charge at all until the time it decides to start again.

I think whoever made that video just has a defective and / or overheating charging brick or MagSafe charger. Those results don’t match other videos and tests I’ve seen, and the Watt meter is jumping all over the place... the video even mentions that it curiously keeps dropping to 0.3 Watts every few minutes.
