I have a magsafe charger that no longer works because it is frayed. I received an email about the MagSafe lawsuit. Does this mean I can bring my magsafe charger into an AppleStore for a free replacement?

The charger is 5 years old though and out of warranty, does that matter?

It's covered! You'll get a brand new L shaped one!

I also have an old magsafe charger from 2007. Any documentation online stating that this is covered?
