What happens to cards when you turn your iPhone upside down??

I would hate to see all my cards fly out (and land on ground, water, toilet, subway tracks, dog poop, someone’s vomit, etc.) whenever I happen to pull my iPhone out the wrong way.

I would also hate to have to add yet another mental chore to my growing list: making sure to always pull out, put back in, as well as hold it the “right” way.

It probably is narrow enough from side to side that cards can fit tightly in there without wiggle room. I’m sure they thought it through.

I believe the marketing verbiage also mentions cards only and not other stuff like cash.

The cards won’t fly out. These are always narrow and thin enough so that it doesn’t fall even with one card. The problem is that if you force it to have many cards in the long run the leather stretches and might not be as tight fit for the cards.

Do we know if the leather will patina? The description on Apples website doesn’t say anything about Patina and it looks like they are made out of the same leather as the Apple Watch Leather Link which also does not patina.
