magsafe led problem

The led green on my magsafe turns off occasionally after plugin. (full charge)

I just noticed that the led doesn't completely turn off, it just gets very faint.
After it's charged unplug and plug in it works.
Never had any problems not charging...the charging works fine.

what's the problem?
 
hmmm i have had this problem as well.... just recently though... have no idea what is causing it.
 
I had a problem with my charger, ended up I couldn't even turn my Macbook on... went into the Apple Store, they tested it and gave me a new one for free - even though my warranty had ended.

I had this issue on the Macbook that I returned for other issues.
 
I also have this problem, but have noticed it while the laptop was on, and for me at least, the laptop was still being charged and running off AC power, even though the light was dimmed. I just unplugged, and plugged back in and it gets bright again. this did just start happening maybe two weeks ago, this is coming from a early 2008 whitebook 2.4ghz and magsafe
 
I have a question...could be an leopard update (firmware/software)
