The light on my MagSafe goes out after about an hour of charging my mid 2009 MBP. I read about some others with a similar problem, but none with a MBP that's so new. Also, my battery hovers at 95-96% health with only 58 cycles on it. Could these two things be related in any way? Thanks.

I don't see how. I recommend doing an SMC Reset (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1411) and seeing if that helps.
