magsafe light goes dim?

hey guys iv see the magsafe light dim green then i bump it an it goes back to bright green?

Mine's been like that too for last 6 months or so...I'm thinking it might be hardware (cable) issue, rather than a software problem. I just do my best to ignore it (though I admit, I miss the pretty green light).

opps i thought i put this in the macbook pro area...

ok , so would this be anything to be concerned about should i call apple or anything? my mac is bout a month old

If it's only a month old then I'd say it's worth a try calling Apple. Maybe they will give you a new charger...I didn't bother with mine because when the light started dimming, it was already ~2 years old so I figured Apple wouldn't give me a new one anyways.

Just had my adapter replaced for the 2nd time on my 2 year old Macbook Pro for that very reason. It's not just a cosmetic issue, it's the ONLY way to tell if the computer is plugged in/charging if you're in a full screen program.
