Hi guys,
I'm writing this after reading pretty much all the threads about this problem and nothing helped me...
What you should know:
> I have a Macbook Pro 13'' and it's not charging.
> When you plug the charger, the light turns to orange and when fully charged it turns to green. Mine is always green and softly blinking.
> The left side 8 leds, which indicate the amount of battery available, are crazy. Only one is on and it's blinking twice and stops and then repeats, like o o - o o - o o - (where 'o' is light on and '-' is an interval, just like in morse code)
> I tried the charger in other Macs and it works properly.
> The charger is not the original, it was a replacement I bought on the internet, not from Apple, because my cat decided to play with the original charger and chewed it... This replacement charger looks 100% healthy
> The pins are okay, the magnetic box is clean.
> Other chargers works with my Mac
> I tried resetting SMC with Left Shift + Ctrl + Option + Power button, for about 15 seconds, but nothing occured.
Since it's out of warranty and the charger is not the original, I can't contact Apple Care, at least with no cost for me.
I don't wanna buy a new Magsafe because this one I have works with another Macs, it would be a risk buying a new one and not working too. My Macbook charges with another adapters.
So, I can't find the root of this problem. You guys have any tip besides throwing both Macbook and Magsafe out of window?!!
