So I saw back in October there's a story on MR about MagSafe compatible PopSocket stuff coming... their website isn't particularly easy to find what you're looking for. Is anything like that out yet? I got my wife a 12mini for Christmas and I know she loves using her Pop so I wanted her to be able to use the MagSafe along with it. Any word?

Resurrecting this older post for more info.

Its now May (roughly 7 months since the MagSafe Popsocket announcement) and we still don’t have a MagSafe popsocket.

The only thing I see on their site is a “MagSafe friendly” option that allows the popsocket to slide out of the way so you can still charge. A clunky and IMO unattractive workaround, but not what was originally hinted at.

Is there any info about a true MagSafe compatible Popsocket? Or is the idea abandoned due to complications they were presumably having with the magnet strength?

Also wondering about this. There hasn’t been any recent news about this product.

I gave up on them, but, I bought one of these off amazon and it works perfectly.

I ordered the blue nebula MagSafe PopSocket. I also attached a PopSocket to the back of my MagSafe charger for bedtime phone viewing. I’m pretty excited to get the MagSafe PopSocket though!
