i have an early 2011 macbook pro 15".
the magsafe port on my computer is a bit dented and the white plastic inside the port is scratched.

is it normal or i have to worry about it?

yes it will wreck ur mac and permantly render it useless

Did you drop it or bump it to cause the damage? A little scratching sounds like normal wear and tear, but denting sounds like it got bumped against something. At any rate, does it charge normally? As long as the plug fits in correctly and you're not having problems charging I wouldn't be worried about it.

it charges fine.

i was a bit worried because it was my first mac :)

maybe its a normal wear and tear.
