I got the Apple Leather case with MagSafe and the Leather Wallet with MagSafe (iPhone 13 Pro Max)

The Qi charger I have does not seem to work with the leather wallet attached. I can buy a MagSafe charger but I’m wondering about the credit cards and driver’s license. The driver‘s license has a magnetic strip but I’m not sure what it’s used for. And the credit cards have chips in them so, again, is the magnetic strip used still? I’ve not swiped a card in quite a while although I do recall one place needed to swipe my card. They could not use the chip.

All that to ask — does Qi and / or MagSafe kill the magnetic strips on a credit card (or driver’s license)?

I am not sure I understand. I don't think the phone will charge wirelessly with the wallet attached to it, that's by design (with MagSafe, at least, not sure about Qi).

Plus, the Apple MagSafe Wallet is shielded to protect the cards.

Maybe it works with third party MagSafe wallets? But then, I would worry about the cards...

Yes. I was just about to come ask / report. I now have the official MagSafe case and wallet and charger (from Apple). It does NOT charge with the wallet attached.
