My MagSafe was fine this morning, I left it plugged in over night and I could see the green light indicator when I unplugged it this morning. Now I am plugging it in but the LED light is not on and the battery meter status on my mbp is not showing any sign of it being charged. I tried different outlets, tried to flip the MagSafe around, took out the battery and put it back in, and still nothing. Im confused as to what could happened? Is there anything else I can do to check or fix before I give up and take it to the apple store?

Nope. Still not charging.

Thank you for the link though, I actually didn't know that.

:p nope. Found the problem.

I am currently in the library at UCSD. A few minutes ago a lady came sat next to me and she was also trying to charge her mbp. When I saw that she was also struggling because her mbp was not charging, I figured that possibly all the outlets may be out of power. They're doing heavy reconstruction here so they might have cut the power to the outlets.

Apologies for the False alarm.
