So far, for scenario 1 I've been made aware of reports of Spigen and Moment working and Smartish customer service confirmed compatibility with their cases.

I’m using a clear magsafe case from Spigen and im using it with a official Apple wallet with findmy and they work together. Find my will alert me after 1 min the wallet have been detached from the magsafe case from Spigen.
