Mail 2.0.3 and timeout when downloading

hi

Im trying to download my gmail via pop3, but when im recieveing a mail with a big attacthment almost all the time it will start to download teh mail and then stop and play the no mail sound. I have to try repeatedly to download the mail.

Whats the problem and how can i solve this??
