Mail 2.0 Plugins

I am now one of the many Mail 2.0 haters. Not because of the look, that doesn't bother me, but after trying to send a few emails that were a couple of mb in size, having no meter to show how far along it was taking was annoying.

I know there are many plugins that change the way Mail looks, but do any of them change it so you have a meter to show how far the email is along in sending?

Just open the Activity Viewer in the Window menu. Is that so hard? Leave it open all the time if you always want to see it.

Why can they just make a meter that pops up when sending/receiving mail? That would be much easier.
