Mail 2.1.3- cannot see my imap emails sent

I have added an imap account to my Mail 2.1.3 and when I send emails from Mail using my imap account, the message do not appear in my "sent" folder- my host company has confirmed everything is fine on their end- does anyone know how to fix this problem on Mail???
