I have spent the good part of last night and this morning searching various forums (including this one) and website for the issue I am having. I have not found anything to help so maybe someone here can offer some advice.
Yesterday I switched from Gmail POP to IMAP. I deleted the old POP account, and set up a new Gmail IMAP account using google's instructions as well as advanced settings.
I can receive new messages, but on the side bar, where most of you have a gray gmail folder and various blue folders underneath I do not. In order to view the subfolders I have to attempt to drag an item to where the gray gmail folder should be. Then they appear for a brief moment and again "hide".
How can I get the side bar to show the folders all the time? I have tried to find my own answer to this but its driving me nuts. The folders do show on my iphone... Oh and I'm on Leopard
Thanks!
UPDATE: Issue has been fixed, finally the folders did not hide, and to be honest, I don't know why
