Mail accounts

Guys!

I read on a post, that with mail I could check my yahoo and hotmail account.. is that true?

How can I configure it to do so? I see 4 options on account types MAC, IMAP, POP and Exchange.... none of the free accounts such as Yahoo or hotmail offer this type.... I believe they are HTTP... no?

My hotmail account is pretty old, and I check this through entourage, my yahoo I can only check this through safari....

It would be cool checking all my emails account on just one application, and if that is MAIL... wow!

Help is appreciated!
 
THis has been covered many times - try searching the forums here. Essentially, for hotmail you need a plugin called httpmail.

It's worth mentioning that the plug-in doesn't always work because Microsoft somehow prevent it. I've never been able to get my hotmail account to work in mail.
