I'm getting constantly frustrated by the Mail App in Mavericks:mad:

Can anyone suggest a suitable alternative that doesn't include Microsoft Office Outlook:D

Short but sweet Tulani but I have to admit your spot on.

£1.49 here in the UK is an absolute bargain, I've only just installed it and added a couple of e-mail accounts and I like it already.:)

Thanks for the quick reply:cool:

Go into your preference and do some tweaks to customise your Airmail settings. There are some nice tuning whistles and bells that will make your experience even better. I love this app.

Can you suggest some?

I run "my office" on a 27 inch iMac so I have a lot of real estate. Therefore one of my set preference is larger font size.

Others are

Type of font
Signature
Gestures
Window style
Notification sound type (even better if you have some good desktop speakers)

I have tried out Airmail, Mail Pilot and Mailbox. In the end, I went back to Apple Mail. Airmail is super messy and I couldn't get along with it (although it's a solid app), Mail Pilot is amazing in theory but feels like early alpha - crashes and missing features everywhere. Mailbox didn't do some things that I rely on with mail.

I'm using Thunderbird, which is free. It has some extensions too for calendar functions that I'm using. Airmail came highly recommended by some friends, and would be what I switch to if Thunderbird stops working or isn't meeting my needs.

Is it on the Mac AppStore ?

Airmail here also... Awesome features, and the dev is totally short selling himself at the current price
