My organization (where I work) does not use a trusted certificate on the mailserver. Their certificate sometimes changes.

When it changes, the Mail application on my iPhone does not connect any more. The application simply says that the connection failed. It doesn't change that often, but it happened few days ago.

In order to get the phone working again, I had to remove the account and sync again via iTunes.

Do you happen to know a trick that I might use to avoid syncing via iTunes (for example, when I am traveling and cannot access my Mac).

Thanks.
