A couple of months ago, one of my gmail IDs on mac mail decided it would send mail but not receive new emails. After a 45 min phone conversation with the helpline, during which we'd gone through all the settings and they'd all be reset exactly as they had been and it still wasn't working, we'd saved the emails and settings, removed the ID, reintroduced the ID and I had all my old email and setting as well as my new ones were now arriving in the inbox.

Today, the same thing has happened on another of my IDs, but I can't remember how I saved the info so that it was all there again after I'd deleted the ID and reintroduced it.

Please would someone tell me (in simple terms, I'm not a techy person) how I can do it? I can delete and reset up, I just don't want to lose all my work!

Thanks guys!
