Mail.app Access attachments

Hi,

I'm looking for some advice on how to the various possibilities to search and download mail.app attachments using a language like java or php. I'd like to automate this so I can pull certain files down to a server for subsequent processing. I don't want to use apple scripts.

Sounds like you are going about this the wrong way. Go grab what you need from the mail server using IMAP instead of trying to get it from mail.app.
