I use POP with Gmail in Apple Mail, and earlier today a message I was trying to send would not go through. It would sit at the "Sending..." screen. After 5 minutes of this, I closed Mail completely, and opened it again. I deleted the message from the outbox and composed it again. This time it worked.

I don't know if this is related to that problem, but instead of just having 3 folders in the Mail sidebar (Inbox, sent, trash), Trash has two subfolders. "On My Mac", and "Gmail", and it's downloaded everything from my Gmail trash folder. How did this happen? Is my POP config mutating into an IMAP one?
