Mail app and Outgoing only Account

Hi. I have forwarded my university's mail to me.com to have push mail for emails from university too. But I want to have the choice to send from university's mail via the mail.app. Can I do this?

Without a hint about the type of email accounts offered by your university, there is absolutely no way to answer your question.

just out of curiosity, why didn't you just put your university's email into Mail.app by itself? as long as it's open, it pushes to the app...

but otherwise we need to know more about this mail account.
