I would also like to know this. RSS feeds, especially those from news sites like CNN or MSNBC are updated much faster than every 30min. Anyone know a work around?

If you're running leopard, and only leopard (no tiger hack), then open mail preferences and go to RSS, and make mail the default RSS reader. Now Go File>add RSS Feeds and then check the RSS feeds you want to add.

yes Leopard, I made Mail default rss reader

When I goto file, add rss feeds.

How do I pick and add them? I don't see anything there.

If you get into RSS you might as well get a good application for reading them. Both NetNewsWire and NewsFire are free. Google them and download either/both for no cost. I think you'll be happier with either of the two vs. Mail. I personally like NNW more than NewsFire, but each is free so why not try them both and decide for yourself.
