Hello, I wasn't sure whether to post here or the Apple Silicon Mac subforum, but this seems more like a Monterey issue.

I have a new MBP16 running Monterey 12.1, and I have a recurring issue that's driving me crazy. The machine will periodically go into a mode where neither Mail.app nor Safari will load any content. If I open an email message from the inbox, the window will draw but no contents will display. And when I'm in this mode, Safari also will not load any content. It gets stuck trying to load the page as if there were a network outage. And it will be stuck for 3 to 5 minutes and then, spontaneously, Mail and Safari resolve themselves. Suddenly content starts loading again as if nothing ever happened.

Here's the crazy part though: while Safari and Mail are stuck in this mode:

* I can have Safari stuck trying to load google.com, while in a terminal window ping google.com and get quick response times.

* I can also load google.com in Firefox and it comes right up.

So I don't think it's a network issue, it seems to have to do with some common resource that renders content for Safari and Mail but not Firefox. Anyone ever see this? How would I go about debugging this?

Otherwise this machine is amazing but this issue is incredibly bothersome. It happens once or twice per day.
