Mail App Badged 5... No Emails Though?

For the last 4 days my iphone mail app (default app) has been badged 5... I don't have ANY new/unread emails!!! Reset phone, turned the mail badge off and on... Why is this happening! It's very annoying seeing I have new emails when I don't help. It's my work phone, email is exchange. Anyone??

My ipad and iPod will continue to show my emails As unread unless I refresh my mailbox. Try doing that. If not, make sure you check all sub folders for unread messages you may have archived without reading.

You may need to close mail and reopen. Make sure it's not running in background.
