The Apple Mail App confuses a "no netwrok" situation with a "service unavailable". This is clearly evident when you have many mailboxes defined and there is no network. The user receives an annoying cascade of popups indicating the server of each mailbox is not accessible.
Fact is this is an incorrect alert. The network is not availble. So appart from providing false information, the message is also incorrect and generating multiple alerts all bringing to a lesser usere experience.
