Mail app crashes on launch

Hello,

The title explains it all. My mail app opens, thinks for a second or two, then closes back to the springboard.

I've changed all the file permissions to 0775 via WinSCP, no luck.

Is there anything I can do? Mail is my second most used app on my Touch (second to Safari), and this is rather annoying.

Anything?

chown -R mobile:mobile /private/var/mobile

I've got the same problem with the mail app. I dont' understand what I should do with the code you provided. Where do I put that? Or what do I do with it? Thanks for your help.

You need to put that through putty... Heres a guide

i can't ssh, so i downloaded "Blaze Software's" 1.1.2 SvPatch, and it fixed it. Don't know how, as I don't run 1.1.2, but not asking too many questions, as it's fixed.

if you have trouble ssh'ing into the device then you could always install terminal on the touch from installer and type the command
