Mail.app Draft invisible

I can''t tell if this is a feature or bug: When the Draft folder is empty it is invisible. After saving a draft it reappears and stays visible. You can send the email and the Draft folder stays visible while empty, but only during that session. After closing and starting Mail.app another day, the Draft Folder is invisible again.

Does anyone else experience this?

Yeah, I've noticed my drafts folder wandering off occasionally as well.
